Norman Williamson’s WW I Service History and Transcribed Diary

Dwight Williamson of Winnipeg, Manitoba writes…

Norman Williamson (1000758), served the latter part of WW I with the 54th Kootenay Battalion.  His memorabilia brought back from the war included quite a few items from his time with the 54th including a diary and notebook with brief entries.  To preserve his service for the information of my brothers, sister, our children and our grand children (and for their children in the future), I have transcribed his diary and added information to it from Major Bailey’s book  “Cinquante Quatre” for context and for greater detail.  I have attached a copy of this document to this email and was wondering whether it is of any interest to members of your site, commemorating the history of the 54th?

Thank you…..Dwight
