MAPPING SITES ON THE WESTERN FRONT

One of the new things on the COBWFA site is going to be mapping

The concept is we can generate a GPS map reference that we could use to dropoff critical supplies and information to any friendly unit. Truly good enough for government work. Its ready now.

Here’s an example which happened 1 Mar 1917 to the 54th and 75th Battalions below

You will be able to search out and and determine on a WW1 map where an action took place.
